This is Like Having My Own Trade Post

Daniel from It's Like Having My Own Card Shop collects Diamondbacks, which makes him somewhat rare in the cardboard blogosphere. I feel a certain kinship as a Twins Collector - we were able to make a pretty good trade!
Old Torii Hunter was young, the new Torii Hunter is starting to look old as the season wears on, but he seems to have had an impact on some of the younger Twins.
I miss Justin Morneau - hoping for the best as he comes back from concussion issues.

Corey Koskie's career was cut short by concussions, too - people tend to forget what a big contributor he was to those early 2000's Twins.
Some sweet Gold Rush parallels of Kirby . . .
There was quite a bit more, but this should give you an idea - a great package of Twins, who are probably another year or two away from making a playoff run - something to look forward to, for sure!

Thanks very much Daniel!

  2. Always loved that Morneau used an old school tri color helmet when catching. Never matched the caps on the rest of the team.

  3. What is it with Twins players and concussions?

    Great cards from Daniel.

    1. Yeah. Koskie, Morneau, Mauer, Span, Hicks last year, Josmil Pinto this year, who is just now starting to return to AAA as a DH. He was supposed to be taking Suzuki's off days this year..
Ironically Eduardo Nunez has not had a concussion yet despite the fact his helmet never stays on his head...
