Who Needs A Card Show . . .

 . . . When you're trading with Johnny's Trading Spot?

John was one of the very first people to reach out to me to set up a trade. I've noticed that everyone insists on sending things first, which is great, and feels very Minnesotan to me. What I received in the mail from John was this behemoth (#WalletCard to show scale):

It looks like even more when I opened the box:

Here are some of the highlights:

Lots of new cards of Joe Mauer, a fantastic Pat Neshek Allen & Ginter, A mix of vintage and cards from the early 2000's where I was sorely lacking in cards.

Brad Radke is one of my favorite Twins of all time, but before this package arrived I had a grand total of 2 of his cards. Now I've got a mini PC going! Same deal with Koskie, Mientkiewicz, and Torii Hunter in a Twins uniform.

Thanks John! These are awesome.

  1. John is one of the most generous people you'll find in the blogosphere. He's dropped many a flat-rate box on me. Looks like he hooked you up with a solid plethora of Twins there!

    1. It was a bit mind blowing - I've gone to local card show and saw vendors with less variety than came in this box. My Twins collection is probably more than twice the size it was yesterday!

    2. Glad that I was able to knock a couple off of your want list. LOL.

    3. Woo, no kidding John, just amazing. I hope the box heading back your way is half as useful to you as this was to me. Thanks again!

    1. I've got plenty of reading to do- There were also a ton of team bags, which is fantastic because I was down to my last one. I've got to beef up my trading supplies to keep up with everyone's generosity!

    1. Yep, I'm probably going to have to get 2 or 3 more binders to fit all the new mini-collections that have been created!
