Brother, Can You Spare a Dime Box?

Nick from Dime Boxes reached out to me after seeing what came out of a pack I purchased of 1978 O-Pee-Chee.

I sent over a few things and here's what came back to me:

Minis and stickers!

Some Super Sweet Vintage to cross off my want list! Love that Tony O and Reggie is always a cool cat to have in the clubhouse.

Some guys for my player collections - I dig the pop up Dave.

There was lots more in the bubble mailer- and I will be learning a lot about packaging from this first round of returns (I'm getting blue tape today!)

This whole package was very cool - thanks Nick!

We've already moved on to trade #2 (this is a tiny one), I hope I can keep up and send some more good stuff your way!

    1. Cool - I will send you an e-mail after I get home from work this evening - or you can contact me at brian dot d dot oneal at gmail dot com and I'll reply later tonight. Thanks for reaching out!
I see from your blog that you like Mets - I can certainly find some that are more recent and I bet I have some pre-1984 vintage around as well.

    1. I will confess that I didn't know about it until I saw all the "Friends don't let Friends tape top loaders" PSAs and started to poke around to see how to best pack things.
I did tape some top loaders together - BUT! I have never put tape over the open side (where it could stick to an actual card) and until I ran out of team bags, I didn't have tape on any part of any top loaders.

  4. Glad you enjoyed everything, Brian! Can't wait for the Doby to arrive in the mail. I was late on the blue tape bandwagon in terms of packaging, but it really is a whole lot better than Scotch tape (which I used for years).
