Redemption

I busted a box of 2011 Topps Lineage a few weeks ago, and was the lucky winner of a redemption card. Of course the card expired some time ago, so I opted to visit COMC and replace it myself. The signatures available didn't really speak to me, so I decided to go quantity over a single card.
Starting off with a Joe Mauer Box Topper
A Pair of Hall of Fame Relics
 More Mauer inserts!
 A Trio of tiny Twins . . .
Then I took a little detour to find a couple Twins related hits
 BOOF.
This last one was a short print from the Donruss Originals set - if Donruss had made a card for Kirby in 1984, it might have looked like this (though I doubt they would have used such a good photo).

After all that, I feel redeemed. No worries about missing out on that Myron Ginsberg Autograph.

  2. Yea, I'd say you did better than a Myron Ginseng auto here. That Puckett is far better than anything Donuts actually put out in 84!

  3. The Murray and Jackson relics look nice.

    1. I think what made it an easy choice was that they were in they were 75 Topps minis. Reggie was actually playing in Oakland at the time, Murray was in AA. I was happy to find relic pieces that were distinct- the Oriole orange and the Kelly Green of Oakland's unis are pretty sweet.

  4. That's a nice batch you picked up. I'd be satisfied with that any day.

  5. Lineage inserts ruled. Shame they couldn't complete the package with statistics on the back of their base cards.

  6. I loved the Lineage design, and Fuji is right - the inserts rocked!
