Cards on Cards with Stickers

Kerry from Cards on Cards emailed me to let me know he had some cards to send me in PWE, little did I know there would be stickers, too!

Just in case you thought I only collect Twins, here's Barry Bonds, whose 2001 season could have been the combined production of two identical players. 

Another sticker! And I tried to find these Rosies on TCDB, but I couldn't place them. There's Panini Prizm, Donruss Optic, Donruss Holo... But these are 2019 Donruss Optic Prizms, which I can't seem to find an entry for... I was going to start being really vigilant about logging my cards into TCDB as soon as I acquire them, but I've already fallen behind.

... And This is Why I Have Wantlists

I sent a #supertrade over to Cardinals blogger Kerry from Cards on Cards, focusing on wantlist needs- and Kerry came up big with a super return trade of his own.

These were not on my list, but they are my first cards from this set - they all fell into that gap of not collecting in the mid 2000s.

Four more that would have been on my list, if I had gotten far enough into it (I'm still looking at 1997 cards to see what I want to add to my collection).

Then things get really interesting - Kerry assaulted my 80s and 90s junk wax list with some fantastic cardboard gems.

There were too many to scan, but suffice it to say, this was an impressive mailer. I leave you with a near perfect Jim Leyland card, the only thing missing is a lit cigarette dangling from his mouth.

Pacific Northwest #Supertrader

Kerry from Cards on Cards backed up a truck of Twins and PC guys this week.

 Terry Tiffee was very briefly the heir apparent at third base, looking to fill the shoes of Corey Koskie- it didn't quite work out. He's got an interesting looking signature at least!

 Shannon Stewart wasn't a Twin for very long, but he made a big impact in the time he spent in Minnesota.

 Gotta love the oddball food issues.

 People forget that Knoblauch was already a World Series winner before he went to New York. He was one of the best players in Twins history, though his off season and post career antics have kept him from being celebrated for his on field success in Minnesota.

BOOF.

Thanks Kerry, I have a few Cardinals ready to go, just need to find a few more to make a suitable flock to fly out West!
