Still working on some of the lower hanging fruit for 1964 Venezuelan Topps cards, here's a lot of Chicago Cubs.
Some pretty gnarly creases in there, but you can't be too picky on these.
Mr. Cub himself makes an appearance, nice to find a copy of this card.
OUCH - yeah, that's quite the paper loss on the back. I will want to replace that one at some point, but for now it is beautiful.
Oh man! When you find a replacement for Mr. Cub, please keep me in mind for the dearly loved Venezuelan beauty!
ReplyDeleteyou bet - I might replace that team card too, since there's a notch in it - a couple of the more heavily creased ones might get upgraded at some point.
DeleteWhat are your feelings on 1965 OPC? I just upgraded a Cub from that set (Ellsworth).
very very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh mid-60's Cubs? That is some definite low hanging fruit right there (from a talent level perspective). That's a really nice find though!
ReplyDeleteHa - yes, I suppose so.
DeleteI've purchased most of the lots from the same guy, buying them in bulk lots has been really cost effective. I'd say the average per card is roughly 3 bucks. I've got a few more lots to post, but I'm taking it easy for the foreseeable future on this set as most singles I can find now that I need are $10 and up (way up).
