So, here's the first in a series of posts that will feature players showing some skills.
Who better to lead us off than the Greatest Lead-off Hitter of All-Time?
Today, we feature Rickey Henderson stealing bases:
Rickey takes a lead . . .
I think he's going to go on this pitch!
Get Back, Rickey!
Ok, going on first movement-
A quick first step is essential . . .
You might be thinking "Wait, he's sliding into third base, not second." Well, Rickey's just that fast.

Get Back, Rickey!
Ok, going on first movement-
A quick first step is essential . . .
A quick second, third and fourth don't hurt, either . . .

He could have just rounded third and taken home, but Rickey had to make the game seem fair, after all.
ReplyDeleteThat, and Rickey's fans can't see Rickey if Rickey is sitting on the bench.
DeleteI love that Stadium Club Rickey!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great shot - I'm really looking forward to seeing the next incarnation of stadium club specifically for shots like that - I bet they have some great images in their archives that they've been saving for the right moment to use.
