GCRL IRL

Headed out to the Valley West strip mall on Saturday for the card show and I had the great pleasure of meeting Jim from Garvey Cey Russell Lopes - we made a little in-person trade, and talked about the great community of bloggers and some of the finer points of collecting.

It was a completely blind trade, coming together in the last 24 hours or so. I brought a box of Dodgers, Double dips, and a few odds and ends that might fit on GCRL's want list. Jim handed me a snapcase:

Attacking the vintage wantlist!
And the Junk wax want list!

Add in a small stack for mini collections of sunglasses and Commemorative patches, a very nice trade indeed!

    good to meet you, too, brian. i haven't scanned the stuff you handed me yet, but i'll get a trade post up sometime soon-ish.

    Blogger-to-blogger experiences are the best! Jim seems like a great guy from my communications with him. That's a solid snap case of cards right there. Everyone should have a copy of the '84 Fleer Roy Lee Jackson in their collection.
