I sent over a few things and here's what came back to me:
Minis and stickers!
Some Super Sweet Vintage to cross off my want list! Love that Tony O and Reggie is always a cool cat to have in the clubhouse.
Some guys for my player collections - I dig the pop up Dave.
There was lots more in the bubble mailer- and I will be learning a lot about packaging from this first round of returns (I'm getting blue tape today!)
We've already moved on to trade #2 (this is a tiny one), I hope I can keep up and send some more good stuff your way!
That Nick is a good guy. Always finds some fun cards for trade.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to break into the trading game. I think I might have a few things you could use. keystothebattersbox.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteCool - I will send you an e-mail after I get home from work this evening - or you can contact me at brian dot d dot oneal at gmail dot com and I'll reply later tonight. Thanks for reaching out!
DeleteI see from your blog that you like Mets - I can certainly find some that are more recent and I bet I have some pre-1984 vintage around as well.
I just sent you an e-mail
DeleteBlue painter's tape is ESSENTIAL, good call!
ReplyDeleteI will confess that I didn't know about it until I saw all the "Friends don't let Friends tape top loaders" PSAs and started to poke around to see how to best pack things.
DeleteI did tape some top loaders together - BUT! I have never put tape over the open side (where it could stick to an actual card) and until I ran out of team bags, I didn't have tape on any part of any top loaders.
Glad you enjoyed everything, Brian! Can't wait for the Doby to arrive in the mail. I was late on the blue tape bandwagon in terms of packaging, but it really is a whole lot better than Scotch tape (which I used for years).
