Too many mediocre teams get in and very rarely do the 2 best teams in the League make it to the World Series. The version that started in 1995 with the division winners and one wild card seems like a good compromise, but I would almost like to go back to just 2 divisions and the 2 division winners meeting in the LCS. Just seems like the playoffs are getting longer and longer, and soon it will be like the NBA where the playoffs last for almost 3 months. I loved the no off days in the postseason as well. You weren’t having to sit around and waste a day in order to see if a team can clinch in a Game 3 with a 2-0 game lead in the Division Series. I wouldn’t have minded for the no off days to happen in the World Series and maybe they could just give the teams like 2-3 days off after the potential Game 5 or Game 7 date of every series. So, I guess that would be three division winners in each league with 3 wild cards. No more wildcard play-in game... make the first round a series of 5.P-town Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07437348006643978055noreply@blogger.com
